Soap.

The amount of soap I have used since March 16th has increased 100-fold.  

I have very clean hands, bordering on chapped.

I prefer Cetophil to Dove.

I prefer liquid Cetophil for face washing.

I do often wonder why someone invented liquid soap.  But considering my last statement, apparently I like it.  Come to think of it, the majority of soap with which I interact is liquid.

Does shampoo qualify in the discussion of soap?

Who came up with the word “shampoo” as a name for a product that cleans?

As I read back over these short sentences, I realize that I should probably be napping instead of typing.
